Derrick-D born as (Derrick Terrell Rayshun DeRamus) is an American recording artist from Birmingham, AL. He started rapping at the age of 9 and has grown to become a lyrical powerhouse with his own unique swag. Derrick-D is the President of the rising and upcoming label LGM Records. He has been featured on numerous mixtapes from Live From the Classic, Paystyle Vol.2, Headed To the Top, What the Game been Missing(Untapped Market), Alabama Classic (Special Edition), and most recent “And Now For Our Featured Presentation”, hosted by DJ Jay West & DJ Black Jesus. He even has his very own mixtape series called Southern Lifestyle Vol.1, which did 2,000 downloads its first day online. With his most recent mixtape Southern Lifestyle Vol.2 released July 2011. Derrick-D has toured with N Da Game Ent on their Black College Tour, performing at Top Level Southeastern Showcases; also open mics thru the Southeastern region.
