Coast 2 Coast Live Artist Bio (Updated) 3.15.26 Michigan native Martone, known as The Emperor of House Music, is a House/Dance recording artist whose career spans television, radio, publishing, and electronic music performance. Raised in Lansing and influenced by Detroit’s legendary dance music culture, Martone first entered entertainment at the age of 13 hosting a local music video show called Video Control, where he interviewed artists such as En Vogue, Will Smith, Chuck D, and Color Me Badd. After studying broadcast media at the Specs Howard School of Media Arts, Martone launched his entertainment company Enotram Entertainment and later created the talk program Industry Revue in the Mix, which evolved into the online station IRMIX Radio. Through the platform he interviewed notable figures including Austin Brown, actress T’Keyah Crystal Keymáh, and television personality Shanna Moakler. Martone transitioned into music production with the release of his debut dance project The Evolution of Martone, produced with his cousin Michael E. Williams II of Platinum Keyz Recordings. Since then he has continued developing a sound rooted in house, dance, and Afro-influenced rhythms. His 2025 single “Too Bad, So Sad” featuring Intelligent Diva debuted on the UK Dance Charts, and his work has earned recognition including a Josie Music Awards nomination for Album of the Year (Pop/Contemporary/Dance).
