Vester Waters is a 2011 graduate of Detroit Cass Tech High School. He later traveled to the Mississippi Delta in search of opportunity and a better lifestyle. In 2014 he was recognized by the Tom Joyner Foundation for using proceeds from his music, to give back to low income family in both the Mississippi Delta and his hometown of Detroit. In the summer of 2015 he was flown to the BET Experience Weekend where he was 1 of 2 students nationwide given the Community Leadership Award. "Coming from a low income area on the west side of Detroit had a lot of adversity. However it is not where you came from, rather where you are going. You Can Do Whatever You Set Your Mind To If You 1st Believe It, and then you Achieve It!"
