Hello, and welcome to Rare Eccentric Diva (Red’s) page. An intriguing individual, Red started out as a child poet at the age of 10. Publishing her first works in Encounters with God 2: True Stories of Teens with a Sacred Calling, she continued writing poetry well into her adult years. In fact, it was this love of poetry that inspired Red to become a rapper. Now, 25, the poet/rapper enjoys creating music that she hopes will touch the lives of men, women, young and the old alike. Using her gift with words Red weaves intricate songs that she believes will enlighten, uplift and/or educate her listeners. Red has opened the stage for HipHop legends such as Big Tuck, Spice 1 and J. Stallings; as well as more current celebrities such as Kevin Gates. Red has also worked as an in studio writer for Negnu Studios in Tempe Arizona and Wildfire Studios in Phoenix Arizona. In the future, one can look forward to the release of Red’s self-entitled book, a compilation of poetry aimed at uplifting young women such as herself. “I truly hope to help people overcome the barriers that society and one’s environment has placed on them.” A women’s advocate with an associates in Psychology, Red intends to inspire young single mother’s such as herself, to be hard working, virtuous women. “All it takes is one person,” Red states, as she embarks on her quest to make a difference in the world using her words. She believes that in leading by examples she can make a difference.
