Coming from a family of musicians, it would not be long before 2MiNDZ would develop a passion for music.He grew up listening to jazz,hip-hop,gospel and classical music.At an early age he would Dj at his family events.Upon recognizing that he could imitate any rhythm that he heard,his mother invested in his first drum set at the age of nine. He later played percussion in middle school and high school bands.Originally, he set out to become an emcee.Due to frustration with the lack of available production he put down the mic to completely focus on production.
