Ja’keem Jordan ( born July 28, 1989), in Stuart, Florida, better known by his stage name “JPsalmz ” is an American gospel singer, composer and arranger. Ja’keem spent much of his years as a community advocate and currently a member of various “Restoring the Village Initiative committees and love to spread the message of hope. He currently serves as the Performing Arts Consultant/Mentor for the Community Outreach Youth Program. At an early age, Ja’keem became a motivational speaker, where he spoke at Annual MLK Festivals in the City of Fort Pierce, Florida. He was also an active chorus member throughout grade school and high school at (Lincoln Park Academy and Fort Pierce Westwood High School), where he graduated. Over the years, Ja’keem developed as a vocal singer and his desire to sing grew even stronger. After high school, He pursued an education in Medical Assisting at MCI Institute of Technology graduating with a 3.8 grade average. Meanwhile, Ja’keem’s true passion is for music. Growing up he admires gospel recording artists like J-Moss, Kirk Franklin, and Fred Hammond. Later on, he decided to take the initiative and chase after his dream of becoming a gospel singer. Ja’keem composed songs such as gospel- r&b, pop, rap and contemporary gospel songs, one of them being, “J.E.S.U.S.” In 2011, Ja’keem began touring independently around South Florida with his two hit singles “J.E.S.U.S.” and “Impossible”. In 2012, his single “J.E.S.U.S.” and “Impossible both” aired on 104.7 the flame and 91.1 radio stations. In 2013, Ja’keem opened up for “The Heart of the Champion” at the Sunrise Theatre a promotional movie premier, alongside Ryan Toby best known for playing Wesley Glen Ahmal James in the 1993 film Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit and Jo Marie Payton, television actress, and singer, who starred most notably as Harriette Winslow in Family Matters. Later on that year, Ja'keem appeared on TBN (Trinity Broadcast Network) of Fort Pierce, Florida, singing hit songs on his album called “Perilous Times.” In 2014, Ja’keem traveled to San Juan, Puetro Rico's, to be a part of WOW Global Ministries directed by Pastor Tavarius Green, in effort to spread the message that “with God nothing would be impossible." Thereafter, Ja'keem appeared on Remnant House Living Inc., International Radio Show hosted by Natalie Young. In 2015 Ja'keem traveled to the big metropolis city of Nashville Tennessee for an international taping and to St. Louis Missouri to appear as a special artist in celebration of (35) years Bobby Jones Gospel Show Red Carpet event. His most recent appearance as a local artist was the M.A.M.A “Mother’s Against Murders Association benefit concert in West Palm Beach, Florida. Ja'keem has been recognized as one of the City of Fort Pierce “Rising Stars." In 2017, Ja'keem was nominated as the first Regional Gospel Hip Hop Artist of Music Gospel Association Guile (MGAG) based in St. Louis, Missouri. As a part of MGAG, Ja'keem takes on the role of a talent recruiter for the Hip Hop division. In this position, he searches for individuals with originality, a positive message and heart of service. With his ambition, energy, and love for God, Ja’keem is now completing his first album called “Perilous Times,” reminding the audience of Christ’s return and promises, and hopes to spread this message to various audiences, especially the younger generation.
