As the coldest Latino Gangsta rapper from Chicago, M.I.C. Murdah is changing the game. A representation of all the hood..s struggling voices, He is the Voice Of The Hood. Killing the Mixtape scene with songs like ..Bang Bang.., ..Chips R Down.., ..Hustlin.., ..Snitch.., and ..Still Tippin.., his music speaks for itself. As well as influences such as Big Pun, ..for making a way for all Latino artists R.I.P Big Pun,.. Tupac, for his expression of ..The Pain and Hate of real hood niggaz,.. Juelz Santana for ..spittin dat crack, hustle life in the struggle shit,.. My main influences have been my own, real-life experiences. Michael Lopez grew up in the ruff streets of Humboldt Park, a community in Chicago with a lot of Gangbanging, Corrupt cops, and Drug dealing. Part of his childhood was also spent in Opa-Locka, Florida, another ghetto where major drug deals go down. He grew up with five brothers and one sister who took good care of them all, while their mother did whatever it took to feed the family, hustling coke in bars, daily. At age 8, My mother..s house got raided and DCFS almost took the kids. At age 14 I began hustling after being evicted in the winter, with no place to go. I got wrapped up in Gangbanging and shooting dice on corners from Humboldt Park to K-town. It wasn..t until I started seeing all my closest friends die, that's where I began to write about Life and Death in the hood. With the hustle and street shit already in my blood, I was called MURDAH, and took the name M.I.C. MURDAH after battling those who had no faith in me. In 2005 I met the most elite breakers in Chicago, The Brickheadz, and since then I have entered a whole new era of Breakin and Emceeing, creating Brickheadz Entertainment with Shon Roka, a breaker and DJ who has been working the underground for years. Rapping for sixteen years, and still struggling, M.I.C. MURDAH has respect for Blood, Sweat, Tears, Heart, Devotion and Hard work. He speaks what he feels, never caring what people think, and always keeps shit real about life and death in the hood. Through his music, which can be heard on Shon Roka..s ..U Gotta Love It.. Mixtapes, and ..Hustle Hardware Mixtapes., people will see that M.I.C. Murdah is the Voice Of The Hood. Also look out for his Hustle Hardwear mixtapes, his industry-hurting first album, and other projects, all coming soon.
