From a family of musicians, singers, and record collectors it is no surprise that DJ Shuttle was born. Originally from the South Bronx raised in the era when Hip-Hop began, it was the block parties and live performances that made him a B-Boy in every sense of the word. Growing up "tagging," rapping, DJing, break dancing this all led to a passion for Hip-Hop and all music. Shuttle's family moved to Long Island at an early age and he would soon link up with legends like DJ Johnny Juice and Leaders of The New School and record as a rap artist at the Legendary 510 Studios home to Public Enemy, Ice Cube, and Mobb Deep to name a few. Shuttle eventually landed a record deal of his own with Tommy Boy Records as part of a 2 man duo "Da Matrix." After agreeing to part ways the group released well received work but never got the buzz strong enough to break-through. "After the death of my Dad who was an incredible musician I realized I had to do something and use my love for music to stay connected to the industry and reach people." Using a sum of money his Dad left him Shuttle purchased 2 tech 1200's and hit BK to buy 600 records in 1 day!!! "It took a minute to get my stride back but I knew this is what I was meant to do after a short time." Making his way through lounges, bbq's, and small parties things took off focusing on Weddings and Corporate functions. While the money was good the bug for Club venues and Hip-Hop events kept calling. These days you can find DJ Shuttle spinning at hot spots in NYC such as Katra, Knitting Factory, Slate and more... while also still keeping the Wedding, Sweet 16, and Corporate Clients satisfied. Additionally, DJ Shuttle has his own radio show "The Good Music Int'l Show every Wed online from CW Post Univ @ 9-12 est. He also is the DJ & Co-host for SIHHRADIO.COM every Monday 7-10pm est and does a guest spot on on Friday 6-8pm est. Ready To Blow vol 2 just released March 2012!!! All Aboard!!!
