Derrick Hill aka Dbreezy was born on may 10,1988 on the southeast side of chicago. He is from Hilliard homes which is located on the Low-End of Chicago. He started off writing poems at the age of 13 but it soon developed into raps. He always had a passion for writing. Some of his musical influences are nwa, ll cool j, kid n play, rakim, tupac, biggie, jay-z, nas, eminem, kanye west, common, and micheal jackson just to name a few. He''s known for his versatile flows and catchy hooks. Even though his city is currently known for "drill" music that have brought fellow artists such as chief keef, king louie and others to fame. He does not consider himself a drill rapper. He feels like that limits his creativity and wants to be different. he takes pride in being competitive and putting out good music. He believes if you keep your faith, stay consistent and work hard its nothin that you can''t achieve.
