Hailing from a small town in Louisiana on the outskirts of New Orleans, DeJayé caught the music bug at an early age. Listening to his father's personal collection of records at home to discovering other genres in his local dance studio, he knew music would play a key role in his life. Appreciative of his vast background in dance, he still felt limited in his artistic expression and sought other outlets to help him satisfy his craving. At age fifteen, DeJayé found his niche in songwriting and began to develop a stronger bond with music. It wouldn't be until after his move to New York City and dancing backup for various artists, that he would take his secret passion seriously. With his acquired knowledge from previous musical employers, he set out to find his own voice in the industry. After two years of hard work & experimentation, DeJayé found his home in Electronic, Pop-Rock; thus producing singles like, "You Lost Me" and "Hunger Pains".
