J-Lyrix became inspired by the Hip Hop and R&B culture.
With a genuine love for the art he started writing his own music at the age of 12 and recording by the age of 15. He felt that writing more about his reality and what goes on in his everyday life would be the best place to pull his songs and inspiration from and decided to pursue a career as a prominent Hip-Hop artist.
