TLD, The Lion’s Den, is the duo composed of Nova Miller and Dan Wallace. The two embraced the name The Lion’s Den as the reference for their faith walk. They believe God to be the author and finisher of their faith and no matter what comes just like the Hebrew boys, will stand on faith to finish in all things. Dan Wallace is an artist, producer, composer, and engineer. He was born in Oahu, HI, and now lives in Antioch, CA. In addition to his spreading the gospel through rap with TLD, Dan is a Junior High and High School leader which he has been doing for the past four years. His vision for the Lion’s Den is, “To promote a true ‘seeking after God’ collectively in the Christian Hip Hop community. To provide moral support for young artists in the Christian Rap music genre, and to be an authentic source of inspiration for fans. I believe that we can provide spiritual food, artistically” Nova hails from the Bay Area city of Oakland California. Nova is a family man and mentor who is devoted to pouring into the lives of the next generation. Nova believes that changing lives begins with Jesus Christ. Sharing “The Gospel” is his passion, privilege and honor. When he is not touring to bring the gospel truth of Jesus to venues around the country, you can find Nova leading young lives to the truth of Christ in his role as an ordained Youth Minister. Both artists were involved with the indie Christian label known as Walk by Faith records. Dan Wallace was a solo artist on the label, while Nova Miller was a member in the group Not by Sight. The essence of walking by faith can be heard resoundingly in the music of The Lion’s Den. TLD believes in, and directs his efforts toward, the group challenging itself, and for its listeners to examine themselves, to see how they are indeed serving Christ, and how to grow in those efforts. “The Lion’s Den is about living above compromise, and takes a ‘no Holds Bar’ approach to gospel music”, as described by Dan. Collectively this duo has had the opportunity to open for Dove award winning Flame, and to perform with Grammy award winning Jamie Jones from All 4 One. Nova, along with his group mate Dan Wallace, has opened for artist such as T-Bone, Beckah Shae, Platinum selling artist Jackie Valasquez, “Heavenly Place”, Seven, and Bizzle, just to name a few. Performing anywhere from local churches to the Holy Hip Hop Awards in the ATL, The Lion’s Den are becoming a definite divine force in the world of music today. A highlight of this divine dynamic duo was having an opportunity to minister with the now NBA Championship Golden State Warriors for an NBA promoted event. They ministered their high energy rap revelation of Christ as Part of the NBA’s Faith and Fellowship Night. They were honored to minister at the Oracle Arena, as guests of the Golden State Warriors who hosted the event. Serving and supporting their home team in their home state for Jesus! Another highlight was ministering as a part of the Praise in the Park series 2014 that headlined Dove Award Recording Artist Matt Maher, during the Praise in the Park annual concert series. TLD believes that when you serve Jesus, He serves up the platforms!
