Sand is destined to make a name for himself not only as an underground artist but also as a force to be reckoned with in the rap game. He already has the streets talking with his hit single “Hard White Bricks”. Born Sandford Dunahoo in Atlanta, Georgia, he grew up on the Southwest part of Atlanta.
Sand has always had a passion and talent for rhyming but not until a year ago did he decide to pursue a career as a recording artist. Sand has used his life experiences and growing pains to create a unique sound of storytelling that has been compared to some of the top artists in the game. His major influences as an artist include Snoop Dogg, Bun B, T.I. and Andre’ 3000.
Currently Sand is working on his debut mix tape “Respect Over Everything”, which is due for release in February 2013. Sand’s uncanny wordplay allows him to set no limit to his ability to succeed. Sand accredits his early success to his ability to resonant everyday hustlers’ lives into his lyrics.
