Known as musically as Scene, a talented recording artist and Washington Heights native is seeking to put his hometown on the map as it pertains to the Hip Hop genre. Well versed in all genres, his contributions to Hip Hop date back a little over a decade where a feature with a childhood friend by the name of Vica Man turned into throwing his hat in the ring with his own debut project titled Street Dreams followed by Street Dreams to a Deja Vu. From there on he joined forces with producer Row Da Hitman which resulted in Reincarnation and Life of a Boss. In the midst of his new found passion paying off reward, life would take a turn as Scene hit a rough patch financially as well as being discovered as suffering a mental illness (Bipolar Disorder.) "At this time more than ever music was my therapy;" Scene would pen lyrics and look forward to a breath of fresh air. That would come by way of his first full length album with producer Peezy Boii, titled Schizophrenia and subsequently Bipolar. Continuously grabbing inspiration from his hometown Washington Heights, Scene is never one to go too long without putting pen to paper. "I write music with a story, a leap of faith and a lesson. I also add my experiences but without glorifying them. Instead I tell you what I did to get by and what were the outcomes of these experience, what they caused me to go through and how I got through them." Currently working on his next project, Washington Heights, which will be produced in full by Peezy Boii Productions, Scene has been driving by the ambition to get his story out which he hopes will be a motivation to others. "I go by the name of Scene. It was created by creating a name of my environment. In my neighborhood there was always something going on from drug dealers on the corners, drive-byes and hustlers on a corner. It was the Scene. Whether it is performing at SOBs (shout to Livewire Empire's Success Sundays) or collaboration with the likes of J.R. Writer, or Hairo G Scene is committed to his craft and growth.
