Making a big buzz in his hometown of Erie. PA, Scotty Chase an up and coming rapper/singer/songwriter is making waves and evolving the music scene in North Western PA. With influences from Run DMC, Aaliyah, Eminem, Alicia Keys, Drake, Wiz Khalifa, T-Pain, J. Cole, Jay Z, Trey Songz, and Luther Vandross Scotty's style is very versatile and unique. The artist's style combines ruggedness but at the same time a composed sense of class. Like Eminem, a great deal of Scotty's work is composed of stories. Though Scotty is a storyteller, that does not limit the myriad of his musical prowess. He is also a song writer, like many great song writers he can write through other peoples perspectives, (ex. can write a song through the eyes of a girl, guy, child, adult...etc). With all these skills, Scotty still manages to have his own unique and distinctive sound making him one of the artists to look out for.
