T-DUBB born Timothy White is a native of Newport News, VA. He is a very unique rap artist with a very unique rap style. His style is a blend of southern hip hop and east coast hip hop. He has a very energetic rap style that will get you out of your seat and have you saying "I'm Fresh" or have you glad you're "Back In Da Hood". He tells finely detailed stories with beats straight from the belly of the south. DJ Jack of Spade from 103 Jamz has quoted this about his music, "This is the type of music we make in VA". He has had multiple songs such as Haters Gone Hate, They Tell Me, I'm Fresh, Do You Love Me, Bad Newz Connections, Show Me, From the Block to the Top, We Like the Cars, Gone Shake It Girl, They Know, Back On My B.S, Blow That Money.. just to name a few air on a few of his local radio stations, such as 103 Jamz (VA), Hot 102.1 (VA), 89.9 (Elizabeth City, NC), 101.1 The Fam (VA) & World Wide Radio (wwradio.net) just to name a few. T-DUBB has won multiple talent contests in Virginia which led him to the opportunity to open up for The Keyshia Cole This Is Me Tour, Yung LA, Boyz II Men, Young Leek, Lil Scrappy, Dem Franchise Boyz, Young Buck & The SMES Awards. He has been featured on web sites such as VASwagger.com, VATalent.com, wwradio.net, RocktheMic.ning.com, CorlinaAllDay.com to name a few. In 2007, he was nominated for at the Blendzville Awards for Best Producer, and also nominated at the Hood Platinum Awards for Best Group when he was grouped with Black Spadez, and Best Record Label "Lightz Out Ent" at the VA Unity Awards. He won "Best Hit Single" at the 2009 Blendzville Awards and was nominated for 4 others. He also performs at the East End Day Parade every year in the East End area of Newport News which is an event that celebrates the achievements of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and promote unity within the community of East End Newport News. Not only is he a rap artist he is also a CEO, engineer of a recording studio, graphic designer and a producer. He is the CEO of Lightz Out Entertainment. T-DUBB said he sets out to be the person that shows the world that VA has a lot of talent no longer waiting to be seen. He feels there were some very talented entertainers from VA that made it mainstream but there is still so many other talented individuals looking for the opportunity to make it. To him Lightz Out Entertainment is going to be the next major label to really come out and showcase what Virginia has to offer. Not only does he want to get into the music industry but he also has a clothing line in the works which will open up opportunities for models to be showcased exposed. He also plans to venture out into other things that will change the way we look at music forever. In 2013 T-DUBB was offered a position on 101.1 The Fam (Official Radio Station) based in Richmond,VA and he accepted it and has been getting great numbers for listeners tuned in.
